Sarsina Easter loaf festival

This Festival will be held in the days of ‘1, 2, 8 and 9 April 2017.

Historically on the Sundays preceding the Easter holidays it was the custom for the Sarsinati, then a poor and peasant population, to party together, dispaying in the square typical local products.

This tradition has been kept alive to this day, and during this period, in addition to a free taste of the “queen” of the festival, the Pagnotta Pasquale (Easter Loaf)- the traditional local sweet that is served on Easter morning together with the blessed egg – there will be stands with, not only the ‘Pagnotta’, but also gastronomic products and local crafts for sale.

In addition, there will be musical entertainment and fun activities for all the family.
